Putnam Investments drive and focus to be an environmentally conscious and sustainable company stems from our commitment to clients, colleagues, and the communities around us. We strive to reduce the amount of resources consumed and to limit waste. We recognize the critical importance of protecting our world’s natural resources. Limiting the amount of resources used also reduces expenses and delivers better financial results. Putnam has completed many operational efficient projects, i.e., energy efficiency retrofits of heating systems, lighting retrofits, along with mechanical retrofits.

Social & Environmental Impact

Putnam Investments primary objectives are to identify and implement energy savings by improving efficiencies in building services and lighting. We use earth-friendly paper products and actively strive to reduce paper consumption and waste. Our Information Services Division pursues efficiencies and buys green. Putnam’s cleaning contractor uses an environmentally green cleaning system, which includes biodegradable products. We are a strong advocate of public transportation for employees.
