Energy Policy

What Is It?

An energy policy declares the importance of energy management for the organization and energy efficiency be shared between all employees and / or tenants. Identifying specific areas to improve and implementing a deliberate strategy can help employees reach tangible results in increased energy efficiency.

Benefits

With a stated and open energy policy, businesses allow employees to become further engaged in the sustainability effort. Once the information about the policy has been disseminated, there can also be benefits in terms of brand recognition and customer loyalty. Additionally, having a formal energy policy will (if it is followed) lead to cost savings in both the present and future.
